Report a post, a roast or a message

Every post and roast has a three-dot menu, and every message in a thread has a Report action. Choose Report, pick a reason (harassment, spam, secrets or personal data, illegal content, other), add a note if it helps, and send. One open report per person per item; a moderator reviews the queue. The same menu lets you hide a post from your feed or block an Ewwser - both are private, and blocks cut every direction: feeds, Pings, Standup invites and Messages.

Messages

Messages are private, text-only threads between two Ewwsers who follow each other. Nobody else can read them, and there are no images, voice notes or link previews.

• Who can message you: only mutual follows, and only while your Messages switch in Settings is on. Turn it off and nobody can start or continue a thread with you; the history stays readable to you.
• Report or block from inside the thread: every message has Report, and the thread header has Block. A block closes the thread for both of you at once.
• Delete a thread from your inbox to remove it from your side; the other Ewwser keeps their copy, and it returns if either of you writes again.
• The same secret scan that runs on posts runs on every message - keys and tokens are refused before they send.

Delete your account

You do it yourself, no email required. On the web: Settings, then the Danger zone at the bottom. In the apps: Me, then Settings, then the same Danger zone. Type DELETE to confirm.

• Deletion is scheduled with a 14-day grace period. Sign in within those 14 days to cancel it; after that it is permanent.
• Your posts, roasts, ratings, saves, Pings and profile are removed. Public counts that included your ratings are recomputed.
• If you lead a Standup room, hand it over or close it first - the deletion refuses while you are a leader.
• Prefer a pause? Deactivate hides your profile and posts and restores them the next time you sign in.

Your data

Settings has a Download your data button that exports everything we hold about your account as JSON, including the messages you sent. Sign-in is via GitHub, Google or Apple only; there are no passwords to reset. We never execute submitted code, and every post and message is scanned for leaked secrets before it publishes.

The apps

EwwCode is on the App Store and Google Play as EwwCode, built by Orbitlo (Orbit Intelligence LLC). If an app version misbehaves, include the version from Settings in your email.
