About EwwCode

Where code gets judged. 0 = beautiful. 10 = absolutely EWW.

What is this?

EwwCode is a social network where the content is code. Post a snippet, and the community rates it on a scale from 0 (beautiful) to 10 (absolutely EWW), roasts it in the Roast Pit, and occasionally an AI drops a roast of its own. People who use EwwCode are called Ewwsers, and they wear the name proudly.

It is free. There are no payments, no ads, and no plans for either. Ratings you give are always private. Profiles are always public. The rules are simple and they do not bend.

Why build it?

Every developer has shipped code they hope nobody ever reads, and every developer has opened a file and physically recoiled. Code review is one of the oldest rituals in software, but it usually happens behind closed doors, wrapped in polite corporate language. EwwCode takes the honesty developers already share in private chats and gives it a public home: a place where a beautiful one-liner can be celebrated and a cursed regex can be rated 9.5 SERIOUSLY EWW by strangers who mean it with love.

The bet is that judgment, done with humor, makes people better at their craft. Reading other Ewwsers verdicts teaches taste. Earning a CERTIFIED BEAUTIFUL badge means something precisely because the crowd does not hand out zeros lightly.

Who is behind it?

EwwCode is built by Orbitlo, an independent product studio based in New York City. Orbitlo builds software at the intersection of AI and developer tools, including Codaa, an AI-powered app builder, and the Orbitlo platform itself. EwwCode is the studio side project that refused to stay small.

The honest fine print

Sign-in is via GitHub or Google only. We never execute submitted code. Every post is scanned for accidentally leaked secrets before it publishes, and that scan is permanent policy, not a feature flag. AI roasts are jokes, not code review advice.
