These terms are an agreement between you and Orbit Intelligence LLC. By using EwwCode you agree to them. EwwCode is free to use, and there are no paid features.
EwwCode lets developers post code snippets, rate them from 0 (beautiful) to 10 (EWW), roast and discuss them, follow other users, join private Standup rooms, and send text-only direct messages to users who follow them back. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
You sign in with GitHub, Google or Apple and are responsible for activity on your account. EwwCode is for adults: you must be at least 18 years old and eligible to hold an account with your sign-in provider. Accounts we believe belong to someone under 18 are removed.
You keep ownership of the code and content you post. By posting you grant EwwCode a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the service, including in feeds, search, share cards, and previews. Only post code you have the right to share; imported snippets come from public repositories and carry attribution.
Roast code, not people. Do not use EwwCode to harass, threaten, or dox anyone - in posts, roasts, Standup rooms or direct messages; do not post or send malware, secrets or private code belonging to other people, illegal content, or spam; do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the service; do not impersonate others or manipulate ratings with fake accounts. Submitted code is never executed by us, and posting it does not make it safe to run - use judgment before running anything you find here.
EwwCode has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). The following are absolutely prohibited anywhere on the service - posts, code, roasts, profiles, Standup rooms, images and direct messages: child sexual abuse material (CSAM); any sexualisation of a minor, real or generated, including text, code, images and links; grooming, solicitation or sextortion of a minor; trading, advertising or linking to any of the above; and any attempt to use EwwCode to make contact with a minor for those purposes.
EwwCode is an adults-only service and accounts must belong to someone 18 or over. We remove accounts we believe belong to a minor.
Report it in the app - every post, roast, profile and direct message has a Report control - or email [email protected], which is also our designated point of contact for child safety matters. Reports of this kind are prioritised above all other moderation.
An account found to have engaged in any of the above is terminated immediately and permanently, with no grace period and no appeal. We preserve the relevant content and account records, report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperate with law enforcement and with the reporting obligations that apply in the jurisdictions where we operate.
We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms or put the platform or its users at risk, with or without notice. You can report posts, roasts and messages and block users in the app; a reported message is shown to a moderator for review.
AI roasts are generated automatically or on request. They are jokes produced by a language model: they may be wrong, unfair, or blunt, and they are not code review, professional advice, or the opinion of EwwCode, Orbitlo or Orbit Intelligence LLC.
You can deactivate or delete your account in Settings at any time. Deletion has a 14-day grace period, after which your account and content are removed; ratings you gave persist only as anonymous numbers in aggregate scores.
EwwCode is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit Intelligence LLC and its products EwwCode and Orbitlo are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to 100 US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
